Imports phase-out

Next Trade Group has abundant experience in the production of components for imported shut-off and control valves used at Gazprom’s facilities with a high content of H2S and CO2, particularly to replace products by Mokveld Valves.

In 2015, an axisymmetrical valve by Next Trade was successfully tested at the Production Directorate for the development of Achimov deposit, “Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy”. In 2016, testing of this valve was endorsed at “Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan”. As such, NEXT TRADE Group can offer analogues of high-pressure equipment with the same quality as that of components produced abroad.

As a manufacturer of customized gas production equipment, NEXT TRADE Group has collaborated with the Gazprom Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gases and Gas Technologies (VNIIGAZ) since the early 2000s.

This collaboration has been successfully addressing the challenge of import substitution in the oil and gas industry for many years. Almost 20 years later, the Voronezh manufacturer has completed three large-scale partner projects with the Gazprom Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gases and Gas Technologies (VNIIGAZ), which resulted in elimination of the critical dependence on imports experienced by dozens of companies working in the gas production domain.

The first joint project with VNIIGAZ was the selection of domestic materials for the manufacture of spare parts for oil and gas equipment used at the Astrakhan gas condensate field. As a result, about 10 materials were selected and approved for serial use with domestic equipment at the field in Astrakhan.
The next joint project by NEXT TRADE and VNIIGAZ was realised in 2015 through analysis of throughput calculations of a NEXT TRADE surge valve. From October 2015 to July 2016, the surge valve passed all tests and received all  the required approvals.

Not long ago, NEXT TRADE and VNIIGAZ completed a joint analysis of Inconel 625 face cladding for shut-off valves to increase resistance to corrosion.

The assessment showed that the technology proposed by Next Trade of cladding valve bodies made of steel grade 03H12N10MTR (EP-810) ensures resistance to hydrogen sulfide-induced cracking. This confirmed the material, cladded with Inconel 625 alloy, as reliable for the manufacture of X-mas trees and valves for the Astrakhan gas condensate field.
Based on these results, Next Trade’s gate valve (DN 80 mm, PN 70 MPa) was installed for field testing at Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan. This valve may be used with/replace foreign analogues produced by CAMERON, MALBRANQUE and FMC, ANSON
